Presently, Sharathi works in Gorkha, Banke and Bardia to improve water, sanitation hygiene in school there. We have provided school hygiene education and hygiene materials support to a secondary school Sukra Decondary school in Bardia. The material serves to over 1522 student in the project district.

Aiming to protect the life of children and aging people who are at risk of ongoing terrible cold weather, a total of 195 disable, poor and vulnerable people sters received humanitarian support. Furthermore, support was prioritized to provide life saving support such as food and clothing for the orphan and abandonated aging people

Foundation continued its effort to provide humanitarian assistance to save the life of people on sucks. Sarathi using its limited fund provided COVID-19 safety gear to 21 Schools in Gorkha and Banke District. A total of 1055 students learned the basic safety features of COVID-19. Sarathi also provided face masks and high liquid soap to the school.
Furthermore, the foundation provided a three-month food ration to two severely ill people in Bardia.

Sarathi Foundation reached 10 underprivileged students in March 2021. All students are either poor or having a single parent who can’t offer their basic education supplies. Sharathi provides basic education supports including school uniforms, stationaries, and Nepalese Rupees 6000 (six thousand) to cover their casual expenses. Sarathi also provides counseling to avoided child marriage, social skills, and goal setting. If everything remaining the same, Sarathi continues its support up to the secondary level.

Sarathi Foundation is intervening at several schools, including Madrasa in Banke district, western Nepal. The campaign address four essential components i.e., clean water, clean toilets, solid waste management, and hand hygiene. The program is being launched in collaboration with the Banke UNESCO club to reach 50,000 students with 2022 in Banke. Now a total of 25 hygiene campaigns are mobilized there.

Sarathi Foundation lunches a School Water and Hygiene campaign in Nepal. We aim to reach 100,000 students in the next three years. We are closely working with school authorities and local government to get to the most needful schools.

Sarati foundation has conducted school-based group counseling and motivation session for school-age students in Gorkha and Banke. Over 6000 students have been benefited in Gorkha and Banke districts. The motivation session covers basic life skills and confidence buildings tips to the student that would help them adopt new social and technical skills to be a successful citizen. Further, the session also provides a platform for young career aspirants to discuss the expectations and realities of various industries. Its primary aim is to help students set their career goals, improve their skills and provide information regarding the job market to assist them in building a lucrative career for themselves.

A total of 122 students studying in Bal Mandir Basic School in Dunai, Dolpa received warm school uniform. All students are from ultra-poor migrant families and cannot afford warm clothes for winter. As temperature goes below freezing it is very hard for the students to live and study properly. So, this support has not only protected student from potential hypothermia but also helped them in school for quality education. In Close coordination with local government and community, Sarathi Foundation made its education support to 61 Chepang students of Rainas Primary School. All students are from extremely poor social economic condition fighting with the lack of basic school stationaries and uniform. This support became a breakthrough to ensure the Right to Quality Education of these vulnerable Chepang students. Sarathi Foundation is continuing other supports as well for next three year to transform their life.
